Okay so that was a P.I.T.A!!! For some reason blogger decided that I could load 1, maybe 2, photos at a time. Went through like 5 rounds of failures before trying the singles. Not sure if it's my computer or them but WOW that's annoying!
Ok so here are some photos of the trip to the Jesuit Missions. My camera died part way through the road trip so you don't get to see the whole evolution of road to, um, path-like trail. But you'll get the picture. Ha ha I'm so funny...
So this is how the road started. Minus the cows and other random farm animals crossing it was a nice road. Much better in quality than those in Asuncion.

Then we downgraded to cobblestone. Which is romantic in thought. Our house is on a cobblestone street. In practice it's just annoying.
You can see here where the dirt road begins. It's nice and wide and packed at the beginning but really turned into more of a rutted trail by the end.

Are we supposed to DRIVE over that? And this is a "nice" one. Later it was not more than 2 half rotted boards going over a ravine. Mike told everyone to "think light".
You cannot tell from the photo but there is a fairly significant steep drop into water down below. I really need to find Mike's camera cord...

The first Mission we visited. Well maintained/restored.
