October 19, 2007 Party Time

Today, while Max was at school, Maggie Meyer came over to play. Hereafter I will refer to her as MM for ease of reading/writing :o) Anyway, the girls had a GREAT time being girls. Thanks to everyone who bought Maggie dress-up clothes, jewelry, microphones, angel wings, wands, tiaras etc... for Maggie's birthday because they had a ball!

Let's pick out some wands.
And check out our fairy wings!

MM posing for the shot. All Maggie cared about was getting the camera because "I wanna see" the picture I haven't taken yet!

MM dancing until something catches their attention on t.v.

My Maggie looked so pretty but boy was she impatient for me to take a picture. Gotta get back to the tiara's and earrings now mom!

After Mike and Max had their respective Spanish Classes I found them totally passed out on the bed. My two favorite guys snuggled up. Look how tiny Max still is next to his Papa. Me les amo!

While the girls played and the boys were at school Mama was making lasagna for our dinner party tonight. Somehow the gods came got together and planned for our good friend, Brian, to be in DC from San Diego, Ed and Ruthie with their 2 kids in Richmond, Petra and Gerry with their daughter Alex from Alexandria, and Al who resides here in DC to all come over for dinner. Everyone, except moi, went to Tulane University and all are or were military and therefore are often scattered across the country, or other countries! Anywho, we got lucky and between weddings, meetings, training etc we are all in DC, at least for one night, together :o)

I love the photo above of Ruthie and Petra trying to get the kids to look at the camera at the same time. Let's see the oldest is 4 1/2 and the youngest is 20 months... good luck guys!

The clan sitting nicely for dinner.

George ALWAYS smiles. He can definitely turn on the charm!
Big sister Margaret, below, as if that needed saying. Could they look more alike? Again, another charmer ALWAYS willing to smile for the camera.

And of course sweet Alex. Not so much a camera hound but one heck of a singer and sweet as pie to the little ones. My kids ADORE her!

Max and Mike sleeping next to each other is so sweet. I love snapping picks of John and Andy snuggled up together on the couch. It just sums up my idea of family.
