Open House Review and other stuff

February 18,2008

Whew! It's over... at least the first open house. Seems all went well. We had about 30 people come through on Sunday, the first actually came on Sat. afternoon, one today and another couple is coming for their second visit tomorrow. YEAH!!! Sure looks promising. Now, of course, I'm a little nervous it will sell too fast. We are not supposed to report to Bogota until July. I know, I'm never satisified - LOL!

And to Ms. Morgan... yes, it's a lot of work but we have lot's of fun too!!!! You crack me up ;o)

Finally my little sister came to visit today. I haven't seen her since I adopted Maggie, and for those of you who don't know that's about 2 years now! We had a wonderful visit but it was waaaay too fast. I'll post a few pics tomorrow. Right now Mike is loading some photos and his camera is such high quality, and we don't have all the software, that it takes FOREVER to load. By forever I mean the 80 photos he's trying to load have been going since 3:30, that's 4 hours ago, and it's maybe halfway there. Ugh!

Yeah, I'm all sorts of funny since I went off the deep end!

If you sell this house, and buy the other one, can't you move into it if you need to before reporting to Bogotá?

Or you could just rent a little efficiency for a couple months. I know it sucks, but better than nothing, eh! Or, hey, I know. You can move in with family. That's always a blast!

totally unrelated: i'm pretty sure the money tree is planted next to the babysitter tree, both of which are watered by the fountain of youth and trimmed by don quixote who is, oddly, just as smokin' hot as morgan's imaginary pool boy.

actually related to your post: YAY! i hope that it works out well - you guys did SUCH an amazing job on your house and i hope it doesn't close too soon...maybe two buyers will get into a vicious bid war that will drag on for months and then you'll end up being able to pay cash for your new project...

=)
